Drinking Games: Why do they exist?

 Notre Dame students are hard working Monday through Friday. They study long hours and generally create much less mischief than most people their age. They continue this hard working attitude right into the weekend through what is known as drinking games.Drinking games are games which involve the drinking of alcoholic beverages. These games vary widely in scope and complexity, and the believed purpose is to become intoxicated as quickly as possible. While Intoxicating oneself is definitely an objective of some people there are 3 other major factors to playing drinking games. These reasons being, intoxicating others, to meet new people, and the spirit of competition. I will go further into these factors via the different tabs on the left of the website.
